VISA INTERVIEW PREPARATION
Clearing a visa interview is not an easy task, and it may be a challenging element of the entire immigration process at times. Most of our consulates require applicants to attend interviews, which may be a difficult undertaking.
Once the relevant money and documentation have been submitted to the Embassy, the next step is a visa application interview. The embassy will review your file for completeness and set up an interview with the appropriate Ambassador.
An appointment letter informing you, the petitioner, and the agent of the date, time, and place of the interview will be sent to you, the petitioner, and the agent. It is recommended that you prepare for the visa interview as soon as you receive the notification.
Before facing interviews, every visa applicant must complete the following steps:
- Gather original papers and deliver them to the visa interview
- Schedule and complete a medical examination with approved physicians.
Many of our applicants are worried about their visa application interview. Consultants Abroad Services – CAS leaves no stone left in adequately preparing our customers for the interview.
Our counselors will prepare and inform you of the interview and any questions that may be posed during the process. They prepare you thoroughly so that you can face the interview with confidence and a positive attitude.
People sometimes fail to perform well in interviews because they are nervous. We prepare them for the interview by preparing them from the ground up and briefing them on the body language and posture that should be maintained during the interview.
We prepare the candidate for the interview by simulating the environment that they will face at the consulates. This boosts the applicants' confidence and morale, allowing them to perform dexterously in their interviews.
Visa interviews often last 15-20 minutes, so make the most of this time because your future is at stake. We teach our customers how to portray themselves as real prospect to interviewers.
Here are some Dos and Don'ts to remember during your visa interview:
The Do’s:
- Attend the interview on time.
- Follow the immigration officer's instructions. Never say no to him.
- Answer all questions succinctly and clearly. Never elaborate or dodge a question.
- Whether you do not speak English, you may bring an interpreter to the US and UK consulates; for other consulates, check the website to see if an interpreter is permitted.
- Maintain your poise and cool during the interview.
- If you don't understand a question, respectfully ask the officer to repeat or reword it.
- If you don't know the answer to a question, acknowledge it right away rather than fabricating an answer, as submitting false information might get you in difficulty and lead your visa to be refused.
