VISA INTERVIEW PREPARATION

Clearing a visa interview is not an easy task, and it may be a challenging element of the entire immigration process at times. Most of our consulates require applicants to attend interviews, which may be a difficult undertaking.

Once the relevant money and documentation have been submitted to the Embassy, the next step is a visa application interview. The embassy will review your file for completeness and set up an interview with the appropriate Ambassador.

An appointment letter informing you, the petitioner, and the agent of the date, time, and place of the interview will be sent to you, the petitioner, and the agent. It is recommended that you prepare for the visa interview as soon as you receive the notification.

Before facing interviews, every visa applicant must complete the following steps:
  • Gather original papers and deliver them to the visa interview
  • Schedule and complete a medical examination with approved physicians.

  • Follow the immigration officer's instructions. Never say no to him.
  • Answer all questions succinctly and clearly. Never elaborate or dodge a question.
  • Whether you do not speak English, you may bring an interpreter to the US and UK consulates; for other consulates, check the website to see if an interpreter is permitted.
  • Maintain your poise and cool during the interview.
  • If you don't understand a question, respectfully ask the officer to repeat or reword it.
  • If you don't know the answer to a question, acknowledge it right away rather than fabricating an answer, as submitting false information might get you in difficulty and lead your visa to be refused.
  • It is recommended that you seek the assistance of skilled and knowledgeable immigration advisors who will guide you through the full visa application procedure.
The Don’ts:
  • Avoid using humor throughout the intervi
  • Avoid arguing with family members or your spouse during the interview. Avoid disagreeing with immigration officials.
  • When answering inquiries from the police, avoid lying or being deceptive.
